Charlamagne Tha God hosted his 468 podcasts and recently spoke of his new book. The book shows that radio hosts do not always have it easy and there is a vulnerable side to them as well. Charlamagne Tha God suffers from both post-traumatic stress disorder as well as anxiety. He is open to looking to therapy for help. He named his new book about a song by the rap group Mobb Deep called Shook Ones.

Charlamagne Tha God takes what it is like to be a black person in American and always be paranoid. There is a great deal of anxiety and fears that he has no control over. Life has not always been good. There are some things from his past that he would like to forget such as selling crack to a woman. The woman got so bad her daughter left school to care or her. He feels in part responsible for that. He has two daughters of his own and another one on the way. He now wants the world to be a better place for the woman.

Charlamagne Tha God reflects on how he has changed over the years. He is thinking differently then he did 5 years ago. He also said that he is a much different person now that he is in his 40s when he was when he was in this 20s. He has changed a lot over the years.
In addition to working on the radio, Charlamagne Tha God is also a TV personality. He was born Lenard McKlevey and has appeared on music stations such as shows on MTV and BET. Now he is offering his view on the world and allowing others to get to know him better. He wants to help people especially those of color. He is standing up for the right of black and brown people.
